New Year's greet with the Minister of Police, Fire & Emergency Service

On 8 January, at 1445Hrs, Fall In was conducted by the staff of Tonga Fire and Emergency Services at Central Fire Station, Nuku’alofa, before departure for the New Year’s Greet with the Minister of Police and Fire & Emergency Services, Hon. Mateni Tapueluelu.

TFES staff, led by CEO, Fire and Emergencies Commissioner Lofia Heimuli and department chaplin, Reverend Viliami Fanaika, were welcomed warmly by the Honorable Minister and his wife at their private residence in Houmakelikau.

On behalf of TFES, Reverend Fanaika and Deputy Commissioner Kauvaka offered blessings to the Minister and his family, to accompany the department gift of yams and fresh fish.

The Minister thanked TFES for their visit, touching upon aspects of the department and thanking the leaders and staff of TFES for their continued dedication to the job. Each staff had the opportunity to greet the Minister, who bestowed well wishes for each TFES member.

Tonga Fire and Emergency Services would like to thank the Hon. Minister and his wife for their hospitality and looks forward to continuing their professional relationship.
